So last night I watched an episode of Jacques Pepin's Fast Food My Way. Coincidentally, it was the same day that Jacques Pepin's Fast Food My Way, the book arrived from thegoodcook.com.

The episode that aired was this one:

SHOW 101: BUFFET'S THE WAY
Jacques prepares a beautiful room temperature buffet in which all of the dishes can be prepared ahead. A menu of Pico de Gallo, Asparagus with Croutons and Chorizo, Melon and Prosciutto, Oven-Baked Salmon with Sun-Dried Tomato and Salsa Mayonnaise, Sweet Cheese Medley, and a gorgeous, layered Almond Cake with Berries is ideal for any celebratory gathering of family and friends.

Y'all, JP puts KETCHUP in his pico de gallo. Also, the sweet cheese medley- leftover cheese with pumpkin seeds and raisins and honey- may be the grossest thing I've ever seen. However, I love JP and will faithfully watch every episode (another one airs today since we get 48 different PBS stations, hurray!). And I love the website. And also, check out the cat in the windowsill...
