Last night I was just going to pick something up and go to yoga. But all I had to eat all day was a brownie and a half and a lemon bar and I was feeling jangly and annoyed in a way that yoga wasn't going to help. But a homecooked meal with Jeff would.

So we had sole amandine, aka our favorite fish, and green beans tossed with garlic mayonnaise. It was delicious and restorative and perfect.

I'm a little worried about Jeff's birthday dinner for the reason that the fish has to be cooked, you know, right then. But I can get up in the middle of the soup course and do it, I think. It'll be a little less convenient than our last few buffet meals, but it'll work.
