Super simple dinner last night- this italian beef dish from the LA times. Just chop some steak into thin, straggly slices, season, brown them in some oil and/or butter, and then wilt a handful of arugula in there. Very good and super easy.

I asked Jeff to get some bread to go with it, imagining he'd pick up something crusty that I could rub with garlic and toast in the oven.

Instead he got this doughy, undercooked, weird herby foccaccia with tomatoes and green olives and cheese on top. I'd say he was passive-aggressively teaching me a lesson about sending him out to get last minute groceries, but he really liked it.
