The Dorky Yankees have let me down, y'all.

Now that I have a big ol' grill I thought I'd do some baby back ribs, so I followed the four hour low and slow method from The New Best Recipe, and, y'all? Rib prosciutto with char on the outside. I totally ruined that whole rack and my husband was mad and it was tragic. The macaroni salad was awesome, but macaroni salad is cold comfort when you have no ribs.

Last night I had the easiest dinner ever- an heirloom tomato I grew myself, so ripe I could peel the skin right off with my fingers, drizzled with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Add some bread and you have the perfect solitary meal.
